8/18 - Week 3, Day 1

Last week I was able to meet my personal goal of getting in two additional workouts and it paid off on the scale! I’m down five more pounds! I was pretty shocked that I lost that much in one week but it’s proof that watching what I eat really makes a big difference. Kim thinks I might hit a plateau with the weigh in next week so we’ll see what the scale says.

I know it kind of sounds “new age” or “crunchy” but I really believe this. Never dwell on the negative, always focus on the positive.

I’m also a very goal oriented person. If I set a goal, it’s unlikely that I won’t make it. I’ve committed myself to this 8 week program. I’ve committed myself to eating healthy for 8 weeks (and beyond). And while it’s only...
