As I was driving to Hillside Park this morning I thought to myself, “Wow, we didn’t do any burpees on Tuesday.” Kim must have read my mind because we had two burpee stations today to make up for it! :) I have a love/hate relationship with burpees (doesn’t everyone?!). I love that they work my entire body but I HATE doing them!!
All of the exercises continue to challenge me. I like when we’re at Hillside Park because we get extra cardio in by jogging to the different locations. I enjoy doing active recoveries because I like to stay moving.
I feel like I’ve got the healthy eating down (although Kim says I need to eat more snacks to stay fueled throughout the day) but I’m still struggling with getting in additional workouts. I’m big on routines and if something changes my routine, it’s hard for me to reroute things to fit in a workout. Maybe a way to deal with this is to schedule a workout everyday, that way if I miss one, it won’t be a big problem. It’s really just about prioritizing. I started a new job so I’ve been putting all of my additional time to prepare for that. I know it’s important to take care of myself too, so I’m hoping things will be a little less hectic next week.
