Half Marathon Training

If you’ve ever dreamed of making it through the finish line but don’t know how to get started, this program is for you. This class is designed for the beginner to intermediate and advanced runner to accomplish a Half Marathon run (13.1 miles). You will learn about running form, injury prevention, increasing speed and distance, and choosing the right shoe.

Classes will meet for 11 weeks and will finish with a real race – the Wine Country Half Marathon. We will meet as a group twice per week and you will be expected to run twice a week on your own or with other club members.
