Heather Robbins

I am the proud mama of a sweet girl, Samantha, who is 2, and a fur baby, Donald. Ever since I can remember I have wanted to help people and that is why I became of Doctor of Physical Therapy. For the last 5 years I have been working in a hospital with post-surgical geriatric patients as a Geriatric Board Certified Specialist; however, it became glaringly obvious that so much we deal with as we get older can be prevented with proper fitness and a healthy lifestyle. So I began to look into the wellness and prevention aspect of Physical Therapy. When I had my daughter, though, I found a perfect fit with Fit4Mom. We started going to classes once I was cleared by my OB, but didn't start coming regularly until my daughter was one. With ever class it was a win win for both if us: a community for both of us, a chance to connect and play, a chance for my daughter to see me being active and healthy (she's even pretending to do Stroller Strides now at home!). After two years of thinking about becoming an instructor I decided to go for it and it has been one of the best decisions I have made! I get to use my knowledge as a Physical Therapist, take a step into the realm of fitness and prevention, be a part of an amazing community full of beautiful mamas, all while showing my daughter hat it means to be strong and healthy! I can't wait to see where this journey takes us!

Sorry, we don't have any schedule info for this month.
